A Busy Fall

I've been up to way too much to even make an excuse for my lack of blogging. However, here I am. What's been going on? The 2 estate sales/auctions we've had at the Nashville house have been successful. Our first was a 2-day weekend event then we came back and hit another pile of goodies the first Saturday of November. It was rainy and misty but cleared off soon enough to welcome a good crowd. Treasures I came away with include a 1889 Morgan Dollar and an antique film reel. The next event is scheduled for December 2.

Warren and I got a new couch. It's large and gray and comfy. I've found a pretty nifty resource to book photography clients: Thumbtack. I've shot a few on air things including Arkansas Showcase segments for KARK/Fox 16 and a commercial for Warehouse Furniture & Warehouse Guns & Ammo in Cabot.

Warren (with a litttttle bit of my help) has 80% transformed our garage into OUR NEW STUDIO. I am so ready to pop lights, drop backdrops and shoot any day all day! Stay tuned.

Photo assignments the past few weeks have included (but are not limited to) the Trunk or Treat at Chenal Valley Church, 3 weddings with Tony, the Abels Family Portraits, new headshots for Lauren, Cosplay Conventions, the World Championship Cheese Dip Festival, staff photos for VieMed and the Little Rock Marathon's new fall event: Creep-N-Crawl. I'm thankful I am able to shoot for multiple platforms and clients. That's why I wanted to do this full time.

Yesterday I shot family portraits near Alexander, AR. It was on some gorgeous land of the 80-year-old who was celebrating his birthday (and the holidays I suppose) surrounded by his family--4 generations I do believe I captured!
